世田谷文学館「池波正太郎の世界」に行ってきた
京王線の芦花公園駅の南に、世田谷文学館というのがあります。
ここは、結構いろいろな催し物をやっているのですが、４月２３日～６月１３日（明日）という会期で、「池波正太郎の世界展」というのをやっています。なかなか行けずにいたのですが、ようやく今日時間見つけていってきました。
人の入りはボチボチという感じ。
池波正太郎が文筆業の駆け出しのころに投稿をしはじめたころの作品（佳作とった時の雑誌など含めて）から、新国劇がらみ、時代劇のそれぞれのシリーズの生原稿や検討のため創作ノートなど含めて、公開されています。
個人的には、鬼平犯科帳や剣客商売の生原稿が、読んだとおり（あたりまえ）のものであったことに加え、銀座日記の生原稿みられたのと、剣客商売の創作ノートで、主人公の住むあたりの設定の手書きの地図が、脳みそで考えていたとおりのものだったことに、驚いたり、感銘をうけたりという感じでした。
鬼平 - 長谷川平蔵についても、そもそも、そういう人がいると言うことに気づいてから、「今の筆力では描ききれない」と、10年寝かしたみたいな解説も、長谷川家の系図とともにメモ書きがあったり、興味深いです。ほんとに、この手の創作は、綿密に行われているものだと理解できました。頭ではわかっていたのですが、大変なことです。
また、池波正太郎が直木賞取った年は、北杜夫が芥川賞とってるんですね。二人並んでの記念写真がありました。
残念ながら、明日までなんですけどね。。池波ファンにはお奨めですね。
知らなかったんですが、上田に真田太平記関係の資料館があるみたいですね。機会あったら行ってみたいな。あと、Wikipediaの池波正太郎のページみていたら、直木賞のすべてなんて個人ページ見つけました。なかなか深い。
当然、池波読んでない人には、鬼平犯科帳や剣客商売あたりを、一度読んでみることお奨めです。食いしん坊と映画好きには、銀座日記:-)
